Iowa fuel infrastructure
Iowa doesn't have any operating petroleum refineries.
Like 17 other US states, Iowa gets its fuel from:
- Magellan and Explorer pipeline systems from Kansas and Oklahoma
- Pipeline product from Wood River (Illinois) refining cluster
- Rail and truck deliveries from regional product terminals
