New York fuel infrastructure
New York doesn't have any operating petroleum refineries.
Like 17 other US states, New York gets its fuel from:
- Buckeye Pipeline from New Jersey and Colonial-fed Gulf Coast product
- New York Harbor petroleum terminals (the largest on the East Coast)
- Hudson River barge deliveries to upstate distribution points
