Rhode Island fuel infrastructure
Rhode Island doesn't have any operating petroleum refineries.
Like 17 other US states, Rhode Island gets its fuel from:
- Marine deliveries to Providence and Quonset Point petroleum terminals
- Colonial-fed pipeline product via New York and New Jersey
- Truck deliveries from Massachusetts and Connecticut
