South Dakota fuel infrastructure
South Dakota doesn't have any operating petroleum refineries.
Like 17 other US states, South Dakota gets its fuel from:
- Pipeline product from Mandan (North Dakota) refining cluster
- Magellan pipeline system from Minnesota and Wyoming
- Rail and truck deliveries from regional product terminals
